vifGA will be Participating in GaGives on Giving Tuesday

October 31, 2017 By admin

vifga will participate in ga gives on giving tuesday

What is GaGives on Giving Tuesday?

GEORGIA’S BIGGEST DAY OF GIVING JUST GOT EVEN BIGGER.

Two of the fastest-growing giving movements of the past decade are now one, and every nonprofit in Georgia is invited to join. GAgives on #GivingTuesday offers every Georgia 501c3 the chance to be part of a worldwide end-of-year giving-season kickoff, and the tools to make it a revenue-generating success.
The purpose of GAgives on #GivingTuesday is to empower all Georgia nonprofits to increase funds, gain new supporters, and raise awareness through one 24-hour state-wide marathon of giving. Bringing together thousands of the state’s charities on one full-featured online donation platform, GAgives.org, we make it easy for nonprofits to start raising money online, and easy for Georgians to discover them and donate directly.
Since 2012, we’ve been inviting every nonprofit in Georgia to take advantage of our free fundraising resources, including online tools, checklists, and webinars, as well as in-person forums and workshops featuring experts in online philanthropy, media engagement, and more. Adding to the support is our network of corporate, media, and grantmaking partners, who share the message, incentivize giving, and help make each year’s impact bigger than the last. The newest member of that network is #GivingTuesday; we’re thrilled to be Georgia’s organizing lead for the international movement that’s become the 3rd biggest day of charitable giving in dollars raised – $180+ million last year alone.

How can you support vifGA?

Spread the word!  Visit and Like us on Facebook.  Share our posts.  Participate in the UNselfie contest. Volunteer. Sign up.  Donate.  We’re hoping to make this a great event.  Won’t you assist us in making a difference in the lives of the visually impaired?
